SEO Services
SEO splits into two jobs, and most service businesses need both. Local SEO gets you into the Google map pack when someone searches near you — driven by your Business Profile, reviews and citations. Website SEO gets your pages ranking in the regular results — driven by content, technical health and links. From $950/month.
If you only have budget for one, it's almost always local.
Local SEO or website SEO — which do I need?
| Local SEO | Website SEO | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you show up | The map pack — three businesses with a map | Regular blue-link results below it |
| What drives it | Google Business Profile, reviews, citations, proximity | Content, technical health, links, on-page structure |
| How fast | Movement at months 4–6 | Movement at months 4–8 |
| Best for | Anyone serving a defined geographic area | Longer buying cycles, many service pages, informational demand |
| Biggest lever | Reviews | Content depth |
| Price | $950/mo | $1,650/mo |
The short version. If customers find you by searching "[your service] near me," start with local SEO — it's cheaper, moves faster, and the map pack sits above the organic results anyway.
Add website SEO when you have multiple service lines to rank, a longer sales cycle where people research before calling, or you're competing in a market where the map pack alone won't carry you.
There's a third piece worth knowing about: AI SEO covers visibility inside ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. It's a separate service, and increasingly it matters for anyone whose buyers research before they call.

Why does SEO take so long?
Because you're building an asset rather than renting attention.
Paid search produces leads within days of launch and stops the day you stop paying. SEO takes 4 to 8 months to move meaningfully, then keeps producing after the spend levels off. Most of our clients run paid search to cover the gap while SEO builds.
| Month | What's happening |
|---|---|
| 1–2 | Audit, cleanup, technical fixes, profile optimisation |
| 2–4 | Citation consistency, review velocity, first content published |
| 4–6 | Rankings move on less competitive terms. Map pack position improves |
| 6–12 | Compounding. Cost per lead falls as organic share grows |
Anyone promising first-page rankings in 60 days is either targeting terms nobody searches or is about to do something that will cost you the profile.
Which industries is this strongest for?
- HVAC, plumbing, restoration — local SEO first, almost always
- Dental and med spa — proximity and reviews decide most of it
- Law firms — both matter; practice-area content carries real weight
- B2B and SaaS — website SEO leads, local is secondary
Frequently asked questions
How much does SEO cost?
Local SEO is $950 a month, website SEO $1,650. Both are included from our Growth tier at $3,750/month. Across the market, boutique SEO retainers run $1,500 to $3,000 and mid-size agencies charge $3,000 to $7,500.
Which should I start with, local or website SEO?
Local, in almost every case, if you serve a defined geographic area. It's cheaper, it moves faster, and the map pack appears above the regular results.
How long does SEO take to work?
Expect movement at months 4 to 6, compounding through months 6 to 12. Less competitive categories move faster. If you need leads sooner, run paid search alongside.
Can you guarantee rankings?
No. Anyone who does is either targeting terms with no search volume or planning something that will eventually get penalised. What we can show you is ranking movement, traffic, and — the part that matters — leads.
Do I need SEO if I'm already running ads?
Usually yes. Ads stop the moment you stop paying. SEO builds an asset that keeps producing, and businesses running both typically see their blended cost per lead fall over time.
What about AI search — does regular SEO cover it?
Partly. Clean technical foundations and good content help. But being cited inside AI answers depends on things classic SEO doesn't prioritise — answer-first structure, named authors, original data, and third-party mentions. That's AI SEO, and it's a separate service.
